Fizzy’s humble beginnings started back in 2005 in a small secluded bar off Great Portland Street in the west end. Originally weeky on a Wednesday, Fizzy was a mid week injection of drum and bass to fill the gap between the weekend gone and the weekend coming.
Rolling with just guests DJ’s and MC’s there was no fee on the door, which attracted the students of Westminster University and media crowds of Soho.

With ever increasing numbers the night moved to a larger venue in Kings Cross and switch from weekly to bi-weekly. With the vibe and numbers continuing to grow the night was forced to move yet again to legendary Camden Venue The Oh Bar.

The resounding success of the ‘Fizzy Friday’ nights at The Oh! Bar has led us to develop a large and loyal fan base that continues to expand till today. Attracting a healthy number of ravers each month, the night has seen guests across the wide spectrum of Drum and Bass such as D-Bridge, Brockie, Chase’n'Status, Nicky Blackmarket, EZ Rollerz, Storm, Kasra, Lomax and Utah Jazz etc. supporting all styles of music to cater for all tastes.

Fizzy Friday had a good healthy run at the Oh bar until the club was forced to close down at the start of 2009. We decided to take a break from the club nights and focus on the label Fizzy Beats that launched in April 2009 at Departure Aldgate. Ez Rollers, A.I, Bryan G and AndySkopes were some of the guest djs for this night.

We continued our break throughout the summer focusing on the label and hunting for the perfect venue for Fizzy. With invites from many clubs across London, finding a venue with the right balance was very important. We Discovered Camden Rock. Formally called WKD back in the days, this club ticked all the right boxes. Size, location, layout and overall ambience.

Moving the night from a Friday to Saturday, our first event at Camden Rock so happened to co inside with our 4th Birthday and what a party it was! Headlining the night saw Radio One Xtra’s DJ Bailey and Hardware resident Loxy.

We have some exciting events lined up for the coming months so if you have never been to a Fizzy night, now’s the perfect time. With the introduction of the label we will be bringing you the freshest beats from our producers alongside some of the industries biggest names.
